I don't know if any one even keeps up with Xanga anymore, but if you do, I thought I'd let you know that BJ and I started a blog at blogger that we will actually keep up with.  Check it out:

We bought a house and other crazy adventures...

We close on 02/28 which is only 19 days away. I'm so excited. In the meantime I need to study for my CPA exam next Saturday, meet with the insurance guy for the house, get our paperwork over to our mortgage broker, go to a Valentine's banquet and a wedding, and talk to our landlady about electricity. Staying busy is an understatement.

I'm stressed, but God is good! When things are going crazy, God is still in control! When I feel overwhelmed, God is still in control. When I can't handle anymore, God knows and is still in control!

Ok, so it's been almost a month since I've posted anything. Let me see if I can catch you up.

I've applied to take 2 parts of the CPA exam before 01/05/07. I'm waiting to get some form that allows me to schedule the test. I'm hoping to either take the audit test on Saturday or the following week. I need to really get to studying and take a couple of the final exams. I was thinking I'll probably schedule the exam for Saturday afternoon so I can spend the morning with BJ before he goes to work.

I don't remember if I told you or not , but our music ministers left and now I'm the piano player for the church. Instead of just feeling good about the opportunity to serve, I'm really stressed for some reason. After Sunday is over, my  forearms hurt and I just need to sleep. Yesterday I slept for 4 hours in the evening, waking up at 9:30 to take a shower and go back to bed. However, overall, things are going alot better than I thought they would. See, my dad, who is now leading worship, is from the old school, if you know what I mean, and he isn't comfortable leading most of the newer songs. I figured he'd just go back to the things he knows. He is actually trying to learn some of the new songs and bring back some semi-new songs that we haven't sang in forever but are good songs. God is really blessing and moving. We have almost a totally new group of backup singers. Things are changing, but God hasn't left. He is still there with us, helping us.

The first major deadline for tax season is over. The 16th all the 1040s are due to the IRS.After that we have one month to finish all the 990s. The end of this tax season is definately in sight.

Oh, I almost forgot to leave a prayer requests for you guys. My friend, Crystal Michael Dallke, had her baby like 2 and a half months premature. With that comes a ton of complication. He is doing well, but we need to pray that baby Zachariah's lungs develop better and that God speeds up the developing process for him. Crystal and Bruce really needs some encouragement, so keep them all in your prayers.

That's all for now. Maybe I won't wait as long to  update next time. God Bless!!

I only have 2 and a half chapters left to study for the audit portion of the CPA exam. I'm hoping to finish it up next week. I'm really excited!!

Also, Nebraska won again to some no name team 56-7. Next week will be the real test. They play USC on Saturday night. I hope they at least show up for the game.

I guess it's time to do something productive at work. I'm not sure I can find anything that is billable, but maybe at least productive in some sense of the word.
